2023 Lopez Open Tennis Tournament

Welcome to the 2023 Lopez Open!
This year, Lopez Open will hold Men's, Women's, and Mixed Doubles events. Due to reduced court availability, the Singles event has been eliminated.

In order to provide a fun, yet competitive tournament, and to accommodate a wide range of playing abilities, we plan to use a double elimination format. A round robin format may be used for events in which the draw is small.
In our modified double elimination format, players/teams will have 2 chances to reach the finals. The rounds prior to the final match are typically Fast4 format. Finals will be best of 3 regular sets.

Tournament Rules
The tournament is a modified Double Elimination format. Specific match schedule will be posted at the draw party and tennis courts. Please check daily for updates.
Arrive at least 1/2 hour prior to scheduled match.
7 minute warmup before play begins. Late teams will be defaulted unless approved by tournament directors.
Preliminary rounds are FAST4 format. Matches are the best of two Fast4 sets with a Coman 10-point match tiebreak played in lieu of a 3rd set, unless specified otherwise by the tournament director.
Final round matches are best of 3 full sets, or as specified by tournament director.
At the completion of a match:
- Return the balls to the can.
- Report scores and return balls to tournament official.
